About Periple RV

We started Periple because we got sick of compromising.

Between us, our founders have spent more than a decade working inside the caravan and camper trailer industry — and using these vans hard. Remote camps. Corrugated dirt roads. Long hauls where what's behind you either holds up, or it doesn't. We've seen what breaks and what doesn't from both sides of the counter.

Periple is Australian-owned and operated. Our design team includes structural and mechanical engineers who understand what real off-road conditions do to a van over thousands of kilometres. Our compliance team works with specialist industry advisors to make sure every van we bring to market meets Australian standards properly — not just technically.

We built our caravans to solve the problems we kept seeing buyers encounter: canvas roofs that couldn't handle extended wet weather, aluminium frames that flexed on rough tracks, and power systems that were an afterthought. Fibreglass composite panels. A proper Renogy power system. Independent suspension built for Australian corrugations. These weren't optional extras — they were the starting point.

We're not the biggest name in Australian caravanning. We're striving to be the most trusted one — for the people who take this journey seriously.
